Bill Hornocker, owner at Portland Commercial Coatings, has 35 years of experience in the painting industry. He started serving an apprenticeship training program in 1981 in Los Angeles. After completion of his training and working up the ladder, he became a general foreman and worked on major projects for the next ten years. In 1991, he moved to the Northwest and served as a superintendent of a large painting company followed by becoming an estimator/project manager. Bill has been very active in the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) Portland Chapter for 20 years. In 2011, he served as Secretary/Treasurer for the chapter, followed by two terms as President in 2013 and 2014. Bill is a graduate of Dale Carnegie and received the highest achievement award. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching a girls youth softball tournament team and spending time with his family.
